COMPLETE PROGRAMS. NOT JUST EQUIPMENT.

Unleash the Power of Drone Robotics

Most organizations that buy a drone don't fail at buying — they fail at deploying. The aircraft arrives, pilots get certificated, and then the program stalls: no standard operating procedures, no defined mission framework, no clear path from "we have a drone" to "we have an aerial program." That gap is exactly where FutureSky operates.

Every FutureSky program is built as a complete, turnkey solution — mission-configured hardware, structured training, operational frameworks, and the documentation to back it all up. You don't piece together a program from separate vendors and hope it holds together in the field. You activate a system that's been designed to work from day one, for your specific mission environment.

PUBLIC SAFETY

FDR Starter Program

A complete Field-Drone-Response capability — aircraft, training, and a deployable operational framework — that takes a public safety agency from zero to mission-ready field aerial response within 90 days.

  • Autel Evo Max 4T V2 — Day and night vision and thermal in a single airframe
  • Intelligent Charging Station + Deployment Case
  • FDR Framework + Standard Operating Procedures
  • Ground School + Pilot Training for 4 Pilots
  • Qualification Standards Endorsement
  • 3-Month Operational Support

~$32,000-$43,000

PUBLIC WORKS & CONSTRUCTION

RTK Mapping Program

A survey-grade aerial mapping capability that eliminates dependence on third-party drone services, delivers same-day site data, and cuts external aerial survey costs by 60–70% within the first year of operation.

  • Autel Evo II RTK V3 + RTK Module
  • RTK Base Station
  • Site Survey Workflow + Data Templates
  • Ground School + Pilot Training for 2 Pilots
  • Mission SOP Development
  • Data Workflow Integration Guidance

~$29,000-$41,000

INDUSTRAL & UTILITIES

Thermal Inspection Program

A complete aerial inspection capability that replaces rope-access teams and third-party inspection with a permanent, in-house program that delivers compliance-grade documentation and finds failures before they become outages.

  • Alpha with Thermal Payload
  • Inspection Workflow + Data Collection SOP —
  • Ground School + Pilot Training for 2 Operators
  • Thermal Interpretation Guidance
  • Annual Inspection Program Framework
  • Report Templates for Compliance Documentation

~$38,000-$49,000

Every program begins with a no-cost consultation. FutureSky scopes each engagement to your specific operational environment — fleet size, mission profile, existing equipment, and budget path — before recommending a configuration. The programs above are starting frameworks. What gets delivered is built around what your organization actually needs to succeed in the field.

FAQ's

The FAA requires all non‑recreational drone pilots to hold a valid Part 107 certificate. Operating a UAS without it can lead to severe consequences, including civil penalties exceeding $32,000 per violation and, in extreme cases, criminal charges. Just as critical, insurance providers will not cover incidents involving uncertified pilots—putting both your operation and liability at risk.
FutureSky does not offer a standard, academic Part 107 class. We believe safe, effective UAS operation requires more than academic aeronautical knowledge—it demands applied, real‑world skills. Our ground school program delivers comprehensive, hands‑on instruction that builds pilot competence from the ground up. When pilots complete FutureSky training, they’re not only fully prepared for the Part 107 exam—more important they have the practical skills and confidence needed to operate safely and responsibly after completing Academy training.

If a pilot’s only goal is to pass the Part 107 exam without developing the practical skills needed for real‑world UAS operations, there are many academic‑only programs available in the market and we’re happy to recommend one.
Autel drones are not banned in the United States. Current regulations state that Autel and other foreign‑manufactured drones may not receive approvals for new aircraft after December 23, 2026. Any drones authorized before that date can continue to be imported, sold, and supported without restriction. FutureSky works directly with Autel’s U.S. division in Bothell, Washington, and most Autel aircraft are manufactured in Vietnam with components sourced globally.

When the new regulations took effect, Autel had already secured authorization for its upcoming 2026 platforms. The current Autel lineup remains fully approved and continues to deliver advanced capabilities and reliability that exceed many competing systems on the market.
The Field Drone Responder (FDR) program is a field‑based drone response model designed for first responders. Similar to a Drone as First Responder (DFR) program, the FDR approach supports rapid aerial response; however, instead of operating from a centralized command location, the drone pilot is deployed directly at the incident scene.

Placing the pilot in the field provides greater operational control, extended on‑scene flight time, and increased tactical flexibility compared to a centralized DFR model. At the same time, both FDR and DFR programs offer distinct advantages and limitations depending on operational goals, resources, and response requirements.

FutureSky works with agencies to evaluate these factors and determine which deployment model—or combination of both—best aligns with their mission objectives. To learn more visit the First Responders Page.
Although recommended, the FAA does not require pilots operating under an agency’s COA/COW to hold a Part 107 certificate. A COA/COW grants a public agency its own authority to conduct UAS operations and to self‑certify its pilots. As long as pilots meet the agency’s documented training, safety, and proficiency standards, a Part 107 certificate is not required for COA‑authorized missions. FutureSky supports agencies by helping develop these standards and providing the documented training needed through our UAS Academy.
NDAA (National Defense Authorization Act) compliance is a requirement for agencies procuring unmanned aircraft systems with federal funding. The Act restricts the use of certain foreign sourced components, and while many U.S. manufacturers have secured waivers for unavoidable parts, non-domestic manufacturers generally have their platforms outside NDAA compliance.

FutureSky maintains a precise, up to date understanding of these distinctions. We closely track manufacturer status, including Autel’s current position on the FCC Covered List, and we understand exactly how and when those classifications affect what purchases may be made with these funds.

Because NDAA applicability varies by funding source and mission profile, we help agencies determine whether the Act impacts their specific acquisition pathway. Our team provides clear, actionable guidance so decision makers can move forward with confidence—knowing they are selecting solutions aligned with federal requirements and operational needs.

FutureSky’s role is simple: ensure you have the compliance clarity, technical insight, and procurement assurance necessary to make informed, defensible UAS purchasing decisions.
